Why Cosmetic Dentures?

Natural Looking

Natural Looking

For patients with severe tooth loss, we recommend cosmetic dentures. Our custom-designed dentures rest firmly against the entire gum line, these dentures provide an unparalleled fit and look. Patients will often experience a boost in confidence after they get their dentures, and feel and look young again! Creating a cosmetic denture is really a work of art in the hands of a skilled dentist like Dr. Adams and his dental team.

Comfortable Fit

Comfortable Fit

Implant Dentures are just like a traditional denture except that they are affixed to implants that are placed into the bone. This type of denture is the closest thing to your original teeth in terms of function and appearance and you don’t have to worry about them moving while eating, laughing, participating in sports, or the like. They also help conserve the bone since the roots in the bone keep the bone active.

Improved Lifestyle

Traditional Dentures & Bridges are a great way to improve your appearance, the function of your jaw, and help you look years younger. If you’re missing one or more teeth but have several nearby teeth which are in good function, a bridge may be used to help restore function. For those who are missing all of their teeth in the upper or lower jaw, a traditional full denture or implant denture is the best option to restore your look and function.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is getting new dentures worth it?

Dentures can be out of date, just like anything else you wear. Because dentures wear and stain at a significantly faster rate than teeth do, if you have used the same dentures for over 8 years, chances are you're ready for an updated look. Over time, dentures also become loose. If you need adhesives to hold your denture in place, it's likely they fit poorly enough to cause damage to your jawbone over time.

Do I really need special dentures?

In many circumstances, specialty dentures aren't necessary. When you visit us for your complimentary consultation, we will provide you with an accurate, honest diagnosis. If you don't actually need custom cosmetic dentures, we won't try to push you into getting them.

How long does a set of dentures last?

Nothing lasts forever. The tissue and underlying bone in the mouth are continually changing. Over time, your dentures will need to be adjusted, relined, or replaced to maintain a good fit. The average life of a set of dentures is about five to eight years.

How long does the process take?

The average dentures patient can expect to visit our office three to six times during the denture design and fitting process. The entire process takes just two to three weeks and can be completed more quickly if required.

Are there others like me out there?

Of course there are. Our practice won't lecture or judge you for your dental problems. Every patient is unique, and we understand that sometimes circumstances can lead to dental problems a patient might find embarrassing. Rest assured, our practice is proud of your choice to pursue a healthy smile.

Will I lose anything by coming in for the free consultation?

Of course not. The consultation is completely free of charge. We are limited in how many consultations we can schedule during any given period, so make sure to schedule yours as soon as possible. You’ve got nothing to lose.

Will my insurance cover cosmetic dentures?

Our talented team will work with you to see if your insurance company will cover your cosmetic dentures. If for any reason they are not covered, we will let you know and will work with you to develop a financial plan if needed. Our patients often tell us that it's worth the investment to purchase quality cosmetic dentures.

What payment options are available?

Yes, ask our office about financing options or payment plans. CareCredit® offers reasonable interest rates for patients who need to finance their dental care.
